She was quickly befriended by Currie Grant, an airman first class in the Air Force who was friends with Elvis. He asked Priscilla if she was a fan, and invited her to accompany him and his wife to Elvis’ home.

After two weeks of convincing her parents, Priscilla was allowed to go over to Elvis’ place outside of the military base. Elvis assumed she was a junior or senior in high school, according to People.

He’d ask Priscilla to go to his bedroom to wait for him on nights she went to his house. She wrote that he’d join her in bed, kiss her, and, when his mood was “calm and peaceful,” describe her as his ideal woman.

“He liked soft-spoken brunettes with blue eyes. He wanted to mold me to his opinions and preferences. Fidelity was very important to him, especially on the woman’s part,” Priscilla wrote in People.

Priscilla also described how Elvis would pick her clothing and was highly focused on her virginity and purity as a young girl. She also said that Elvis orchestrated much of their relationship with her father.
